Firm clients have included large corporations, both foreign and domestic, small companies, partnerships, unincorporated businesses, churches, doctors, engineers, and lawyers."

Project Overview: The Dietrich Law Firm's old website visual design lacked eye-appeal and the website lagged with respect to modern web design and accessibility standards. The old website was scrapped and a new one was rebuilt based on a modern template customized to fit the law firm's geographic locale and customer base.

Lopes Lab, Department of Microbiology, University of Massachusetts

Client Overview: "The goal of the research in the Lopes Lab is to understand the transcriptional regulation of phospholipid biosynthesis in yeast, and how phospholipid biosynthesis is coordinated with other biological processes."

Project Overview: The lab needed a brand new UMass-branded website. The website was designed from scratch after a getting input from the lab. The purpose of the website is to provide information on what the lab does, its current members and publications.

BHS 21st Century Fund

Client Overview: "The 21st Century Fund is a non-profit organization founded in 1998 by a dedicated group of parents, alumni and Brookline residents to serve as a sustainable source of funding for new approaches to major challenges in public high school education."

Project Overview: 21st Century Fund had a functional website, but did not provide the staff with a simple interface for making updates to the website. Also, the layout was table based and the code included depreciated HTML elements. The site was rebuilt using a pure CSS layout. The templates were imported into a CMS and enhanced to produce XHTML 1.0 Strict valid pages. Each staff member was provided with an account to update the website via an easy-to-use WYSIWYG interface designed to provide maximum flexibility while ensuring that the look-and-feel of the site is preserved.

UMass Environmental Sciences Program

Client Overview: "The Environmental Sciences Program at the University of Massachusetts offers a Bachelor of Science Degree. This undergraduate program provides students with a rich, interdisciplinary educational experience.

The New England Board of Higher Education rated the Environmental Sciences Program at The University of Massachusetts Amherst as one of eight "excellent" programs in the region along with Brown University, the University of Connecticut, Dartmouth University, Middlebury College, Tufts University, the University of Vermont, and Williams College."

Project Overview: The department had an outdated website that was not standards-compliant and lacked structure. The new website was redisgned with a goal of attracting prospective students to the program and making all of the content accessible and easy-to-find.

Brookline High School

Client Overview: "Brookline High School reflects the high value the Town holds for education, having established a tradition of extraordinary achievement and cutting-edge innovation which has earned a national reputation. Serving 1,891 young people, with students from all races, nationalities, cultures, socio-economic strata, and 76 nations, The High School is characterized by accomplishments across a broad spectrum of activities in and beyond the classroom."

Project Overview: Brookline High School's website was only updatable by the webmaster and because of that was rarely updated with revised content. The community needed a web site that reflected the high standards of the high school. After careful planning, the old website was taken down and a new one was redesigned from the ground up. The new website used a cross-browser compatible content management system that allowed each department to maintain their respective pages using an easy-to-use Word-like interface. The result was a website that effectively delivered content for teachers, parents and students and the rest of the community.
